Puppets Love God Too....

Welcome to The Rocky and Helping Hand Blogspot. Please feel free to look around and check out what our show has to offer to children who are curious about God and the Bible. Each episode will teach the word and entertain your kids as our fun loving puppets teach, play, and bumble around.

3rd month

As we go into our third month of Rocky and Helping hand, we have started to figure out some changes that are needed. First starts with me. Before now I was doing the curriculum, crafts, and the Rocky and Helping Hand show. This was allot to handle on top of work and family. So, I have given the curriculum and crafts back to Karen who will do an excellent job with them. I will now be able to concentrate completely on the show. I have discovered that 3.5 to 4.5 minutes is the optimal time frame to grab the kids attention per show. More of Helping Hand is what the kids want to see. No more "lets move to the bible story area" at the beginning of the show, just a intro from Rocky. I will still play around with allot of idea's. The one I am most excited about is finding someone to help write scripts. I would love to remove our dependency on the current curriculum script so we can offer these video's to the kids. Another idea is 2 other puppets to be added into some scripts. Rocky's cousin Tex (Cowboy style country character) and Dusty (A doubting, always questioning character). Please pray for the show and its growth. And as always, Please leave comments about what you see and hear.

Thanks
Paul Santellana
